The Model

The Ferrari 365 GTC

The 365 GTC arrived in 1968 as one of the most understated and refined Ferraris of its generation. It replaced the 330 GTC, carrying forward the same elegant Pininfarina silhouette while adopting a larger 4.4-litre Colombo V12 producing 320 hp. Furthermore, the engineers relocated the air intakes from the flanks to the bonnet, giving the car a cleaner and more resolved profile. Moreover, the 365 GTC combined genuine performance with a level of comfort and refinement that few Ferraris had offered before. It was a car for covering great distances at speed, in complete composure. Ferrari built approximately 168 examples before production ended in 1970, making it one of the rarest series-production Ferraris of the era.

This Example

About this example

This 365 GTC is finished in Black over a leather interior, a combination of quiet authority that suits the car's restrained character perfectly. Furthermore, the dark paintwork emphasises the purity of Pininfarina's proportions, allowing the shape to speak without distraction. As a result, this example presents as one of the most elegant interpretations of a model that has long been appreciated by those who value substance over spectacle. With so few built, the 365 GTC represents an increasingly rare opportunity in the classic Ferrari market.
