EpoClassic Experience · 2014
Among the hills of the Monferrato, Cocconato has long been called "the Riviera of the hills". In 2014 it became the stage for a concours d'élégance in the most authentic Italian tradition.
Historic automobiles gathered in the piazza and along the ridge roads of one of Piedmont's most beautiful villages, judged in the spirit of the great Italian concours: elegance, coherence and the story each car carries. It was an event built on the same values that would later inspire the Langhe Concours — intimacy, landscape, and automobiles chosen for what they represent.
For EpoClassic, Cocconato 2014 was the beginning: the first chapter of a journey through the concours world that continues today in the Langhe.

The Spirit
No barriers, no velvet ropes: the automobiles parked in the piazza as they would have sixty years earlier, judged on elegance, coherence and the story each one carried. Owners talked with visitors; the village became part of the field.
That intimacy — automobiles, landscape and people in genuine conversation — is the thread that connects Cocconato 2014 to everything EpoClassic has done since, up to the Langhe Concours.
