At the museum of Prince Albert II, the McRoyal Auction brought together classic and sports cars in the heart of the Principality — an exhibition and auction conceived as a celebration of automotive culture.
The gathering drew some of the most respected figures of the Italian motoring world: Arturo Merzario, Mauro Forghieri — the engineer behind Ferrari's greatest competition cars — Brenda Vernor, for decades the English voice of Maranello, and the designer Alfredo Zanellato Vignale. Alongside the classics, the event hosted the debut of the Italdesign Zerouno, bridging half a century of Italian design in a single room — with the jazz guitarist Pino Russo as guest musician, lending the evening its soundtrack.
For EpoClassic, Monaco 2016 remains a defining moment: the meeting point of the collectors, engineers and coachbuilding heritage that still shape the way we present automobiles today.

The Gathering
Few rooms have held that much of Italian motoring history at once. Forghieri spoke of the competition Ferraris he had engineered; Brenda Vernor of the Maranello of Enzo's years; Vignale of a coachbuilding tradition his family helped define. Around them, the automobiles: classics from private European collections beside the brand-new Italdesign Zerouno, making its public debut.
