Monte Carlo, Monaco – 2016
The McRoyal Auction Monaco 2016 brought together a curated selection of classic cars within the Prince’s Car Collection museum — one of the most prestigious automotive settings in the world. The first edition of the event combined exhibition, private interactions and collector culture in an international context.
The event combined exhibition, private interactions and curated moments, creating a refined environment for collectors and enthusiasts.

The presence of Arturo Merzario and Mauro Forghieri gave the event a direct connection to the golden era of Ferrari motorsport. Both figures shaped some of the most significant chapters in Formula 1 and endurance racing history, and their involvement added a layer of authenticity rarely found in conventional automotive gatherings.

The event also marked the debut presentation of the Italdesign Zerouno, developed in collaboration with Italdesign. This moment introduced a contemporary perspective alongside the historic automobiles on display, creating a dialogue between past engineering and modern design.

The evening concluded with a live jazz performance, contributing to an atmosphere where automotive culture, history and music converged naturally. The format established in Monaco 2016 laid the foundations for subsequent editions and for the broader event philosophy that continues to inform Epoclassic’s approach today.

“This event represents an important step in the evolution of curated automotive experiences, anticipating the format developed in subsequent initiatives.”
