The Dino 246 GTS

The Dino was never officially called a Ferrari. Enzo Ferrari insisted on that. Instead, it carried the name of his son, Alfredo — known as Dino — who had contributed to the development of the V6 engine before his untimely death in 1956. Furthermore, when the 246 GT arrived in 1969, it represented a fundamental shift for the company — a smaller, lighter, mid-engined sports car accessible to a wider clientele. The 246 GTS followed in 1972, adding a removable Targa roof panel that transformed the driving experience entirely. Moreover, Pininfarina’s body remains one of the most celebrated designs in automotive history — fluid, purposeful and timeless. Today, the Dino 246 GTS is universally recognised as one of the most beautiful cars ever built.

This 246 GTS is finished in Silver over a black interior, a combination of quiet elegance that suits the car’s refined character perfectly. Furthermore, it has covered 60,000 km from new — a genuine and honest mileage for a car of this age and significance. Matching numbers throughout confirm its originality, while Ferrari Classiche certification provides the most authoritative documentation available for any historic Ferrari. As a result, this example represents one of the finest and most authentic Dino 246 GTS available on the market today.

Inside, the black interior retains the atmosphere and character of the original Dino cabin. Every detail reflects the craftsmanship and design sensibility of Ferrari in its most creatively fertile era. Furthermore, the driving position — low, close to the road, surrounded by the sound of the naturally aspirated V6 — offers an experience that no modern car can replicate. The Dino 246 GTS is a car that rewards the driver at every level, on every road.
